The following combination forms a good pill to be taken every night: Extract of Chirata 40 grains Podophyllin 4 grains Wahoo 8 grains Culver's root 8 grains Creosote 10 grains Mix and make into twenty pills.
Diseases, Dose, etc.--The resin, called podophyllin, can be obtained, and is used in one-fourth to one-eighth grain as a laxative; one-sixteenth of a grain can be taken four times a day for chronic liver trouble.
Aloin 1/9 grain Podophyllin 1/9 grain Sodii Bicarbonatis 1 grain Quinine Sulphate 1 grain Acetanilid 2 grains Mix.
