The _Pediæus_ or the _Brevis_, being plac'd over the Foot, proceeds from the Annular Ligament, and the lower-part of the _Perone_, and sends forth four _Tendons_, which are fixt to the first Articulation of the four Toes on the outside, Thus this Muscle, together with the _Longus_, causeth their Extension.
