The four _Lumbrical_ Muscles of the Toes arise from the _Tendons_ of the _Profundus_, and a Mass of Flesh at the Sole of the Feet.
Before passing into the proximal annular ligament the two middle tendons unite each with the tendon of the corresponding lumbrical muscle.
