CAJUPUT OIL, a volatile oil obtained by distillation from the leaves of the myrtaceous tree _Melaleuca leucadendron_, and probably other species.
The leaves, being fermented, are distilled, and yield an oil known as cajuput or cajeput oil, which is green, and has a strong aromatic odor.
