Sentences with MYOMORPHA (3)
The Simple-toothed Rodents are more numerous, and consist of about eighteen families arranged under three sections, which are _Sciuromorpha_, or Squirrel-like Rodents, _Myomorpha_ or Rat-like Rodents, and _Hystricomorpha_, or Porcupine-like Rodents.
Several of the genera of Myomorpha contain species inhabiting the northern hemisphere, which habitually hibernate.
Closely allied again is _Chiruromys_, which has a strongly prehensile tail, a feature which is not common among the Myomorpha, though _Dendromys_, a tree-frequenting form, and _Mus minutus_, already spoken of, show the same character.
